In search of the ideal combination of function and style, Jennifer Carr created the Hot Mama Apron in 2007. A practical mom who cooks for her family EVERY day, Jennifer realized that the traditional aprons she relied upon were either fashionably undesirable or too delicate to actually use. The Hot Mama Apron is the perfect solution for cooks who are tired of resorting to cooking and cleaning with dish rags and soggy paper towels.

Hot Mama Aprons are made of absorbent terry cloth towels and are embellished with unique fabrics, ruffles, and trims. They are perfect for wiping hands on while cooking. All aprons are machine washable making them the only apron or towel product cooks will need in their kitchens for years to come.

Since developing the Hot Mama apron, Jennifer has added several products to the Hot Mama line including aprons and chefs hats for little girls and boys, casserole caddies and menês aprons. In 2008 she incorporated her designs and products under the name Jen Rosie Designs, LLC.

All Hot Mama products are hand-made and machine washable; they make unique, practical gifts for holidays, weddings, birthdays, showers, hostesses or for simply celebrating the every-day cook.

A graduate of The University of Texas, Jennifer currently lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband and her two sons. Prior to creating Jen Rosie Designs, Jennifer taught elementary school.
